Meredith, from Ventura County, California, is my guest asking about her dream set in a clothing store.
She’s there to choose new clothes for someone and asks the store attendant to try on various options so she can see how they look. The white-blonde attendant is only partly engaged in the process, making Meredith feel anxious and deferential as she tries to make good choices.
The attendant models three layers of tops, and then agrees to trying Meredith’s idea of a dark blue shirt but there isn’t one available.
“Why am I buying her all these tops?”, Meredith wonders, exasperated, before seeking refuge in a private changing room.
