Votey and her sister dropped to their knees for protection as the warlock, wrapped in a white silk cape, commanded attention, speaking softly but clearly, declaring war or a state of chaos.
The mall fell silent. This was a dangerous moment. Votey knew she needed to find her parents to protect them.
