Alexandra, from England, is my guest with a dream about a half dead cat and two dead mice in a dark, dusty cellar she hasn’t visited in twenty years.
Alexandra hasn’t seen David, her dream brother, for all these twenty years, and when she knocks on his door and enters his rubble-filled, cobwebby room in the cellar, she is drawn more to the cat and what she can do to rescue it, than she is to David.
She breastfeeds the cat to bring it back to health, but what to do about David? She simply doesn’t care about him. Or does she? What actions does she take, and how does her dream relate to her waking life?
Accustomed to working deeply with her dreams, Alexandra had already uncovered the basics, but felt she wasn’t getting to the core of the meaning of her dream. Listen in as we explore and interpret the dream, find that core, and create the dream alchemy.
