My guest, soul guide, shamanic healer, podcaster, and co-founder of Wild Sovereign Soul, Lian Brook-Tyler, dreamed of a wedding party in her neighbour’s beautifully renovated and extended home. But with a sudden urgency to find a toilet, the question of a lost Kindle, and accidentally killing a bad man, the dream plot thickens. What does it all mean?
Lian lives in Hertfordshire in England in a 500-year-old, quintessentially English country cottage with her husband, two children, an array of rescue animals, and her beloved rose bushes, blessed to be living what she describes as her own soul’s myth.
Lian suffered 15 years of chronic pain, panic attacks and anxiety, all of which mysteriously disappeared in 2012 upon the sudden death of her father.
It was that inexplicable transformation that inspired her to leave a leadership role in the corporate world to immerse herself in discovering what creates pain and struggle, and conversely, how to live from soul.
For over a decade, Lian, together with co-founder Jonathan Wilkinson, has guided soul seekers to find their way home, released from cycles of overwhelm, loneliness, and endless self-improvement, finally free to live a life of deep meaning, embodied ease, and love.
Their work, the Wild Sovereign Soul Path, is an initiatory journey of devotion to reclaim wildness, actualise sovereignty, and awaken soul. It is an alchemy of ancient ways for these modern days, weaving together eclectic wisdom teachings and traditions such as mythical archetypes, rewilding, alchemy, animist spirituality, Kaballah, embodiment, and self-illumination.
