Episode 250 The Dream Show: Monolith and glitter

Episode 250 The Dream Show Jane Teresa Anderson

Ashe, from Wodonga on Dhudhuroa Country, Victoria, Australia, is my guest with a dream about a sculpture that he knocked over and smashed.

The sculpture was a large concrete monolith, built by a close friend and mentor, and all it took was one little push to topple it, accidentally-on-purpose. Ashe tried to cry tears of remorse, but they were not forthcoming.

The monolith was smashed to smithereens, spraying sparkly light and glitter everywhere. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” Ashe lamented, “constantly bumping into things and falling over!”

There’s much more to this dream, including a full-length velvet theatrical curtain, and the danger of a baby being caught up in the curtain cord.

How does it relate to Ashe’s life, and what deep and meaningful insight can he draw from our exploration of his dream?
